DO YOU KNOW THAT YOUR LOVE IS THE SWEETEST SIN?
Trip to HCMC

I was going to ask my dad if I can pre-order VFC's album, but I'm pretty sure he's gonna give me a list of conditions. Besides, he just went to bed so I'll leave that to later or Friday.

I've been back for two days now and I know you're waiting for a recap on my vacation. Alrighty, I ain't gonna make you wait anymore. I'mma try to summarize it as short and sweet as possible. Of course not forgetting the pictures, though I need to grab more from my dad.

On Friday, right after the AMFS paper I left for the Budget terminal to check in and catch the flight at ... oops I forgot the time! Got our insurance and headed for the departure hall. When I saw the internet zone, I rushed to an available computer (like as if I hadn't seen one in ages, lol). Fast forward, the gates were open so we proceeded to board our flight. As you know, we took budget air so we didn't board the plane via the tunnel (can't remember what it's called). In simple terms, we went up the plane by means of a staircase (refer to picture below).

You should've seen when the SIA plane flew by it. What a huge difference! Haha. Do you see that truck by the plane? It's the shit crap truck! LOL.

So we get up the plane and I got the window seat. Whooo!! I love window seats and looking out the window to enjoy the beautiful sights (and clouds). Here's my view out the window before the plane took off.

It was a short hour and a half flight to Ho Chi Minh City. It kinda sucks that it's a budget flight so there's no inflight entertainment (read: super mario, haha).

Pardon me, I'm gonna fast forward a lot because it's getting late and I won't go into details (or I might later on if I decide to).

The traffic in Ho Chi Minh City is what left the greatest impression on me during this trip. Motorcycles are the main mode of transport there, and the streets are literally filled with motorcycles (of even families of 4!). Just take a look at this picture. And this is only *part* of it.

We went on some cruise for dinner the evening we arrived. Everyone had fun with my shutter shades, including my uncle and aunt. Haha, I need to get those pictures from Eenette though.

On Saturday morning we went for grass skiing, which was quite an experience. I'd expected the place to be bigger though. It was a day of unglam and stickiness, so don't expect me to post any pics.

Thereafter, we skipped our plan to head back to my uncle's to shower and clean up before going for lunch. At this point, I was in a pissy mood as it was really hot and I was feeling really disgusting. Off we go for lunch anyway, and a little shopping after.

Before I continue, let me show you some pics of my uncle's dog which is so cute!!! To think I used to be really afraid of him but I love him to bits.

Aww...

On Sunday we went to a market which, to be honest, I felt was a pretty boring place. I didn't get much from there,  just some accessories. And so I have nothing much to say about this market. We went to have lunch at a Vietnamese eatery. I had some rice noodles which was good. Oh, and the iced coffee with condensed milk was great!! Loved it!

Rice rolls

Caramel pudding :D

At night, we went to some posh place for dinner. Fine dining supposedly? Haha, ihni. Bro, Eenette, Chadwyn and myself sat at one end of the long table and we had much fun speaking in different accents and languages. The portion of the food wasn't much, hence we ended up at a street side stall for more food afterwards.

Mango smoooothieee :)

So yeah, that's pretty much it as much as I can remember. You know me and my STM, lol. The fact that I even remembered that much is already a miracle in itself. Oh, and here are some shots from our flight on the way back to Singapore. The sunset is b-e-a-utiful and oh those fluffy clouds always make me wanna jump outta the plane and lie on them.

Bahaha Eenette, you're on candid camera!!
