The 51st Grammy Awards officially begins!

U2 is singing. Some new song perhaps, doesn't sound familiar. 

Bono introduces Whitney Houston to give away the award for 'Best R&B Album'. She's looking much better than when we last saw photos of her. Jennifer Hudson! I hope she wins this. The Grammy goes to ... Jennifer Hudson! *yay*

Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) is talking about the Grammy's. He quotes Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl, and is naming some nominees.

Justin Timberlake takes the stage and introduces Boyz II Men and Al Green. They're singing Let's Stay Together. JT sounds great on the song. "loving you whether, whether, times are good or bad, happy or sad..." *cheers and claps with crowd*

Who is this guy on stage? Peers towards tv screen. He introduces Cold Play. Steve Martin is playing on a small piano. The song is so beautiful with just Steve and the piano. I personally think that ___ kinda spoiled it with the rapping. Here comes the rest of the group. Viva La Vida! Amazing stuff!

Keith Urban introduces Carrie Underwood. She's looking so pretty as always, and sounding amazing as well. She has seriously changed so much since Idol! Cheryl Crow and Leanne Rimes take the stage to present the award for 'Best Country Performance by Duo/Group'. The Grammy goes to ... Stay/Sugarland.

Duffy and Al Green take the stage to present the award for 'Song Of The Year'. Jason Mraz, I'm Yours!!! Ooh Love Song by Sara Bareilles, love that one too. The Grammy goes to ... Coldplay for Viva La Vida. 

Kid Rock performs Amen, All Summer Long and Rock n Roll Jesus.

Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus perform Fifteen. I really don't know about Miley singing country. Taylor should be singing her song alone, just my opinion. No offence to any Miley fans reading this.

Taylor and Miley introduce the nominees for 'Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals'. No Air!!! And the Grammy goes to ... Robert Plant and Alison Kraus. 

Jennifer Hudson takes the stage to perform. Kudos to Jennifer, she has an amazing voice.

Jason Mraz and _________ on stage to present the Jonas Brothers. They're singing Burning Up with the one and only Stevie Wonder. Superstition! Love that song!

Blink 182 on stage to present 'Best Rock Album'. Wow, haven't seen them in forever. The Grammy goes to ... Coldplay.

Katy Perry takes the stage with I Kissed A Girl. Kanye and Estelle sing  American Boy. They present the award for 'Best New Artist'. The grammy goes to ... Adele. Aww, she's so emotional.

Queen Latifah introduces MIA. Paper planes! It always makes me think of VFC, haha. Oh, here comes Jay Z, Kanye, T.I. and Lil Wayne.  Man, look at what MIA is wearing. 

Kate Beckingsale is on stage, she looks gorgeous. She introduces Sir Paul McCartney and Dave Raul(?). I Saw Her Standing There!! Classic!

Jack Black and Charlie Haden (who is also Jack's father-in-law) present the award for 'Best Male Pop Vocal'. And the Grammy goes to ... John Mayer. Ooh, he got a new haircut.

J More and LL Cool J introduce Sugarland and Adele to perform Stay and Chasing Pavements. They are both such amazing singers.

Neil (Diamond?) talks about the President and music. He introduces Smokey Robinson, who then introuces Ne-Yo and Jamie Fox and covers Four Tops' Reach Out I'll Be There and Sugarpie Honeybunch with them.
