First day back at school.
I survived it.
Go meeeeeee!!!
:)
The day starts we me deciding to cross the overhead bridge to get to the other side, instead of making myself suffer in the hot, humid weather. Didn't work. I was still a mess after I got to the bus stop. On the way there, I missed a 76 and was a little annoyed. Then, within 20 seconds, another 76 comes by and I'm thinking, 'Crap! How is that possible?! It usually takes at least 15 minutes between 76s!'. Just when it couldn't get any worse, a 25 came by just as I was still crossing the overhead bridge. By this time I was really annoyed seeing as it had potentially ruined my plan of making it to school in time for the first lecture. After a bit of waiting, another 25 arrives. I hop aboard and take it all the way to the interchange.
I then decided to walk to the Jubilee bus stop to take 159 so I can avoid the looooooong walkway and get to block Q quicker. Well, what do you know? Just as I arrived at the bus stop, there is 159! I was so happy I picked up my pace and walked towards the bus, only to find a man standing right at the door trying to get in. Stupid people didn't wanna move the heck in when there was still space. Pffft. So it was more waiting for me, and I started getting impatient as time passed. By this time, I was literally
melting. So finally, the bus comes at just a couple of minutes before 9. In typical 'auntie style' I hopped in front of a lady and squeezed my way onto the bus, afraid that I would miss this one too. *facepalm*
Well, it was a pretty mundane day. Food chem, all over again. I tried to keep myself to stay awake during labelling but found myself on the verge of dozing off at one point. Food biz was pretty much
mehhh...
TWEET TWEET!
Twitter.
Go get one fool!
Seriously though, I miss the days when hardly anyone knew what Twitter was. These days it gets flooded with tweets every millisecond, that it's constantly going over capacity.
Everyone and their mum has a twitter now! Heck, even the President of the United States has a Twitter!
That said, Twitter is still tons of fun though.
Just some fun facts for ya:
Vanessa is ranked 254,324th on twitterholic! (by followers)
Vanessa is ranked 532nd in their location on twitterholic! (by followers in 'Singapore')
I just gained another 20 followers in one day. ONE FREAKIN DAY. Oh those creepers... *goosebumps*
Overall, Ashton Kutcher (took me forever to figure out his user aplusk *epic fail*), CNN Breaking News and Britney Spears are still the front runners in this little game we call Twitter.
That sure was a mouthful about Twitter. I just felt like I needed to spread the word.
With this, I conclude this blog post.
Thank you so much for reading :)
