This is the story, story of my life...
I'm listening to some Audio Day Dream right now since I haven't listened to the album as a whole in awhile. It's amazing, nothing more I can say.
Anyway, I just felt the need to write about my 'KFC experience' on Thursday. My mum was out, so it was just my maid and I at home and we decided to order KFC for lunch. Here I was on my computer doing an online order for a Bandito Pockett buddy meal and nachos. Upon confirmation, the page stated that it would take approximately 45 minutes for the delivery.
So I wait, and just about 45 minutes later the delivery man arrived. He confirmed the order of a Bandito Pockett buddy meal and nachos and I receive the bag of food. For some reason, I didn't think of checking the items before the delivery man left. As I opened the bag, I realized we were missing a Bandito Pockett. How ironical, because afterall it was a BANDITO POCKETT meal. The Bandito Pockett was the MAIN ITEM! Of all things to be missing out on!
I made a call to KFC to inform them that I was missing out on a Bandito Pockett from my Bandito Pockett meal and the lady told me that it would be sent out soon. Half an hour passed, and there was still NO sign of a Bandito Pockett. Hence, I made a second call to KFC telling them that it had been half an hour and I hadn't received my missing Bandito Pockett. This time, I was told that the delivery man would call me about it. A couple of minutes later, I did get a call from the delivery man saying he was on the way. Finally, the Bandito Pockett arrived, almost an hour after I got the initial delivery. In total (from when I made my order online), I waited close to 2 hours for ONE BANDITO POCKETT. Now, just tell me how ridiculous is that?!
And that, is my 'KFC experience' from Thursday.
About a week ago, I was at Gain City with the parentals to look for a new fridge. It was quite a challenge looking for one that fit. Well you see, when we got the house, the so-called-designer made it such that the area for the fridge was between the stove and some cupboards and it was a very restrictive space. Thus, we had to find one that would fit that cramp space. We literally spent a few hours there just looking at fridges!
We finally made our decision, and we were supposed to have it delivered just this past Wednesday. However, we realized we had made a miscalculation with the measurements and the depth of the fridge we had chosen would not fit the cramp space. With this, we had to reconsider our options. So today, I made a trip to Courts with my mum and maid to check out the fridges available there. Unfortunately, most of them didn't fit the bill. After we were done checking out the fridges, we didn't have anything else to see at Courts so we walked over to Ikea.
I looooooove going to Ikea - even if it's just window shopping. I need to bring my camera along the next time I'm there. I can already anticipate a lot of crazy and random pictures. I basically freaked out at EVERY SINGLE ORANGE OBJECT on the shelves. "OMG, look! Orange candles! That's such a nice colour coordination! I want the orange towel!" My mum got a set of 6 colourful cups and I said the orange one is reserved for me. We got a couple of things, then my mum freaked and realized that if we were to take the train/bus we wouldn't be home in time for the 7pm Korean drama. So we went to grab some grub (Ikea's hotdog is cheap and good!) and then managed to get a cab to rush back home.
That was pretty much how my Friday went down :)
